Sharing one last pregnancy workout today before the baby comes in a few weeks and it’s a full–length workout video, so you can follow along and do this 20 minute mix of strength and cardio pregnancy workout with me. As long as you’ve been given clearance from your doctor to workout or have been working out consistently while pregnant, this workout can be done in all three trimesters.
20 Minute Strength and Cardio Pregnancy Workout
Equipment needed: A stable chair (folding chair works great) and a set of medium dumbbells
Level: Intermediate with modifications
What to expect: This workout consists of three different circuits, with three strength moves and one cardio move in each circuit. Each circuit will be performed twice and will target your full body. Always make sure to listen to your body and stop if something doesn’t feel right. You can always drop the weights to modify any of the moves. Your workout effort shouldn’t go above a 6 or 7 out of 10 and always have water on hand, taking frequent water breaks. I offer a quick warm-up, but feel free to warm-up more if you need it.
