I love a good circuit workout when I’m short on time. Circuit training targets both strength building and muscular endurance.
15 MINUTE CIRCUIT WORKOUT
This 15 minute workout I’m sharing today will take you through 3 different circuits combining dynamic strength moves with cardio blasts while working multiple muscle groups at once for maximum calorie burn.
Each circuit consists of 3 exercises, which you’ll complete for a total of 40 seconds each, repeating the circuit for a total of two rounds.
Equipment needed: medium-to-heavy set of dumbbells (I used 10 lbs)
Level: Intermediate with modifications
Circuit X 2, X 40 seconds each exercise:
Circuit 1:
- Push-up w/ plank rotation
- Lateral hops w/ single dumbbell
- Bicycle Crunches
Circuit 2:
- Alternating side kicks
- Russian twists w/ single dumbbell
- Glute bridge w/ single dumbbell
Circuit 3:
- Alternating forward lunge w/ hammercurl
- 2 plank jacks w/ 4 mountain climbers
- Sumo squat to upright rows
Option to rest for 30 seconds in between each circuit
