Week 3 Meal Plan: Rosemary Lemon Chicken Wings

July 13, 2018 by MGal

These Rosemary Lemon Chicken wings are my absolute favorite marinated chicken wings, and perfectly light and fresh for summer or anytime really. Made with just 5 simple ingredients, you (and your guests) will be impressed by the amount of flavor these wings have.

Rosemary Lemon Chicken Wing

5 ingredients:

  • Garlic cloves
  • Avocado oil
  • Fresh rosemary
  • Lemons
  • Chicken wings

You will want to prepare the marinade the night before or the morning to let the chicken soak in all the flavors at least 6 hours before grilling or baking, so that you maximize the flavor. The longer you marinate, the better. And if you are a sauce person, you will HAVE to make my easy garlic aioli sauce made with just mayo + full fat Greek yogurt (or sour cream) + garlic powder.

Garlic Aioli Sauce

  • 1 tablespoon of mayo, I use Sir Kensington’s Avocado Mayo
  • 1 tablespoon of whole milk Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder

Mix together and serve as a dipping sauce for the chicken wings

Rosemary Lemon Chicken Wings Recipe

  • 4 lbs of chicken wings
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup of avocado oil
  • 4 sprigs of fresh rosemary, chopped or 1 tablespoon dried
  • 4 lemons, juice of
  • 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt
  1. Add all ingredients to a large plastic ziplock bag and massage chicken with your hands using the outside of the bag.
  2. Make sure the marinade is evenly distributed in the bag. Store in the fridge for 6 hours or up to 2 days.
  3. Cook on the grill until crispy or bake in the oven on a wire racked pan for 45 minutes at 375 F, flipping halfway in between.
